They Were Fun To Watch

I enjoyed them. The excitement. The explosions. The special effects. They all fascinated me. As a young teen, they inspired my friends and I to relive them in the woods behind our houses.

Those were the views of a 14-year-old boy, pre-transition.

Last night I watched “The Forgotten Battle” on Netflix. This time, I watched through the eyes of who I am today: a 71-year-old mother and grandmother.
