The Weather in Rochester, NY
It’s hard to predict, and it keeps changing

Does the forecast keep changing because it’s so hard to predict, or is it so hard to predict because it keeps changing?
Consider: since I woke up this morning, the temperature has dropped by 6 degrees F. At 9:30 the forecast called for an 80% chance of snow by 4:15 pm. (How do they get it right to the minute?)
By noon, it had lessened to a 60% chance of snow.
Now, at 3:00 pm, there’s still a 60% chance, but instead of 4:15, it’s supposed to start snowing in 15 minutes.
But here’s the thing: another forecast says “Thunderstorms ending by 9:00 pm.”
So who’s a girl supposed to believe? The National Weather Service, or the National Weather Service? After all, both forecasts come from the same source.
I’m just glad I did my grocery shopping yesterday when it was a balmy 60 degrees and the sun was shining.
It’s enough to drive a woman to drink. Fortunately, I’m prepared for that eventuality, having restocked both my Irish Breakfast and my Earl Grey stocks yesterday.
So let it rain or let it snow: either way I have exactly zero f***s to give.
UPDATE: It’s 3:30 and snowing.
