Oh, hell. How do I decide when to clap, or how many times do I clap?

I have two criteria I use:

1. Did I read your story? If it held my interest, I’ll give it 25 claps. At a minimum. Hey! You took the time and effort to write it, and so I’ll express my appreciation with claps.

An important thing to remember is that I do this even if I disagree with you.

2. Did I agree with you? Is it about a topic or issue that I support? That generally gets you 50 claps.

It really is that simple. ❤️
